Tips to be Healthier as Pandemic Continues

As the Covid-19 pandemic emerged, lockdowns, stress, sedentary lifestyle, and unhealthy eating habits caused people to gain weight in the past few months. This along with the emotional trauma can cause the body to be more vulnerable and susceptible to different diseases. While most people are worried about increasing weight, there are measures that can be taken to maintain an optimal BMI, reduce the weight gain without having to go to extreme dietary restrictions. Here are some of these tips that can help you keep your weight under control as the Covid-19 pandemic continues.

Eat the right amount of food

You do not have to give up your favorite food completely. However, quantities do matter. Take food on a small plate and drink a glass of water before eating. By drinking water, you will also eat less quantity of food.

Count step

To reduce the increasing weight, keep an eye on your step count. Walking burns fat and also keeps your body in shape. To lose weight, do exercise. If you pay attention to your walking step, then you will motivate yourself to lose weight. For this, you can take the help of a smartphone or smartwatch.

 

Eat food without stress

Keep in mind that what and how much you are eating. This is a great way to start the process of weight loss. Eat food with a calm mind. Excessive stress works to increase the level of cortisol in your body.

 

Eat healthy snacks

Most of us eat unhealthy snacks for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Instead, try to eat healthy and nutritious food for your meals. You can have dry fruits, nuts, and dark chocolate in the snacks. By consuming this, you will not feel hungry for a long time and also keep your weight under control.
